My story
At a very young age, I developed a passion for hockey. I started playing minor hockey at 8 years old for the Cumberland Grads. I made my way up and played for the AAA U18 Navan Grads where I was named Team Captain. During my late teens, my hockey skills were noticed and I was invited to QMJHL camps with the Halifax Mooseheads, the Olympique of Gatineau, and OHL team Niagara IceDogs. Even though I was not retained as a player, the experiences were invaluable and enriching. I played in the CCHL with the Navan Grads and Smiths Fall Bears, Junior A teams for a few years. I am now the coordinator and head coach of the Men’s hockey team at College La Cité in Ottawa, assistant coach for the AAA Wild u18, and hockey instructor with the Louis-Riel High School hockey program.
My goal is to help young hockey players achieve their goals and dreams by giving them as many tools and resources as possible to improve their game. My training sessions will focus on skating, shooting, passing, and puck control, including drills specific to both the forward and defense positions.
